I have to get a new chair about every 2 or 3 years because I use it a lot at my desk and the leather wears out after a while. My last one was like this one only slightly more heavy duty and the padding was thicker. The leather started flaking after a while and it started creaking. It cost about the same as this one because it was on sale. This one is a little sleeker in design because it's not padded as much and looks really nice. It is very quiet when I roll around in it which is so nice after hearing the loud screams from the last one! This is not the most expensive chair on the market but it is good quality and should last me as long as I expect it to....probably 2 or 3 years like all the others. I could get a better quality chair if I wanted to pay a lot more but then I would be more hesitant about replacing it along the way and I like changing my colors out ever so often. I usually get a black or burgundy like my last one. This time I got the white one which took me a little time to get used to and I'd planned on getting a beige but they were out of them at the time. The white is great though because it really brightens up my work area. I'm sure it's not real leather for this price but it is nice and looks great. It came packaged very well with no missing parts, no damaged parts and got to me in less time than I expected. I'm very pleased with it. One thing...if you have it on hardwood floors, be careful when you go to sit down because it will roll easily and you might miss your landing. (I would have if I hadn't rolled with it and it hit the wall and landed in it. My pets all seemed quite amused at this for some reason.)

The chair is reasonably easy to assemble and looks pretty nice, just like in the pictures. However, it has to be the least comfortable chair ever. There is absolutely zero lumbar support, but what makes it really bad is that the back rest is at a 90 degree angle to the seat.

The top pillow is really pronounced and hard. So every time you sit in the chair the top pillow either presses into your upper back or your neck depending on your height.

I believe my pictures demonstrate this design flaw or maybe I just received a faulty unit. Seriously you need to sit hunched over in order for this chair to work.

To add insult to injury, upon asking for a return or refund we were offered to ship it back at our cost and all the packaging material needed to be in brand new condition. If you have every unpacked anything, you know this is not possible.
Add to that the cheapest shipping option was $110 with UPS ground and you realize it makes no sense to return a $99 chair.
We will have to chalk this one up under lesson learned. In the future we will not buy chairs on Amazon or from the seller OneBigOutlet anymore. Do yourself a favor and go to your local Office Depot or Staples. The prices are the same but you get to try out the chair and returns are easier.

Outstanding chair for the price!! Out of the box, I could tell that it was manufactured with quality materials. The seat and back pieces were heavily built and the extra packing foam behind the cushions to hold them in place were thoughtful additions. Once the chair was together, I enjoyed the first sit. The chair has great lumbar support and reaches all the way up to my head, allowing me to rest entirely against it. The materiel is also very soft and feels very nice on skin, such as bare arms when you rest them on the arm rests. The chair feels very well built and sturdy!! I am looking forward to spending lots of time in my comfortable chair. I can appreciate the supportive nature of this chair. I recommend it to anyone. Well worth the price.

First of all, this chair was a nightmare to put together!!! The item arrived quicker than expected which was nice. Because of my work schedule, I was not able to assemble it right away so I waited until the weekend. I took everything out of the box and when I was in the process of putting it together, I noticed that 2 bolt screws inside the hardware bag was defective. There was no groove at the top of the bolt screw head for the allen wrench (included in the bag) to be inserted to screw them in. Needless to say, I was upset. I wrote the seller an email explaining the situation and requested to have a replacement hardware bag to be sent. After sending off the email, I decided that I wasn't going to wait for a reply and of course not knowing if I would even get a replacement on the hardware (or) how long it would take to get it if they had decided to send one off. I purchased this chair and I wanted to use it, not wait for however long it may take just to get replacement hardware and have the chair sitting partially assembled in the mean time while waiting to see what would happen. I ended up making 2 trips to my local hardware store to get 2 bolt screws to replace the 2 original defective ones plus washers and another allen wrench to fit the new bolt screws I purchased. My 2nd trip resulted in having one of the guys at the hardware store put the arm rests on because we just could not do it. Also, one of the plastic caps that covers the bolt screws was broken inside the bag which is not a big deal since it's just a piece of plastic. After this ordeal, the chair was finally assembled and I will say that it looks nice and it's comfortable which is why I gave it a 4 star rating. Some reviews stated that there was a toxic smell coming from the leather, mine did not have any smell to it. Overall, I do like the chair but I was not thrilled about how this whole experience started.

EDIT 9/27/17 - I deducted 1 star because the Seller/Company didn't have the courtesy to reply back to my email. It doesn't matter whether I fixed the problem on my own, purchasing additional hardware parts for THEIR defective parts and the time, gas and frustration I had to go through just to get this chair assembled. The point of this whole matter is that it would have been nice to at least get a reply and I would have gladly informed them that I took care of the situation on my own. Very poor customer service on their behalf.

EDIT 10/14/17 - I have to say that I am very disappointed in myself for purchasing this chair. I thought it would be a good chair but sadly it's not. All parts on this chair is as tight as it can get but it still wobbles (rest arms & the chair itself sitting down into the base). It doesn't feel strong and secure and I fear that it will eventually just fall apart. I expected to get a good quality product but I guess you get what you pay for. Not to mention you have a company/seller that has absolutely NO customer service what so ever. Never replied back to my email regarding the issue that was mentioned above in my original review. Unfortunately I will have to continue using this chair until I can afford to buy another one. Down graded star review to 1 star, if I could give it a zero, I would.
